BackerKit Survey Launch, Art Gallery & More
about 4 years ago
– Tue, Nov 17, 2020 at 03:50:50 PM
Hello everyone!
Well, here we are, about two weeks on from the close of the campaign. That means BackerKit is about to be launched, and you can finally fill out your surveys and officially choose your items!
The process is pretty simple, but read on for the details.
BackerKit
Monday or Tuesday of this week you should receive an email invitation to complete your survey. The subject will read something along the lines of, "Response Needed -- Get your reward for The Corrupted Collection II: Moon Rising" - this is your survey invitation.
The link inside leads to your personalized survey. Your pledge data has already been imported into BackerKit from Kickstarter, so you'll just need to confirm some details, answer a few brief survey questions, and then you'll get to choose your items.
It's important to note that while you had items in mind when you pledged, you are the only person that has this information. So, in order to convert that pledge into an actual order of items that we can fulfill, you'll need to select your items in the add-ons portion of the BackerKit survey.
After your survey, you'll reach an "add-ons" section - here, you must select any and all items in your pledge. You'll notice that your pledge amount on Kickstarter has been converted into credit which you can apply in this step. You're also free to add items beyond what you initially pledged for - if you do so, you can add funds right in BackerKit easily and check out just like you would on any e-commerce site. But whether or not you're adding new items beyond your initial pledge, you must select every item you want in this step, or we can't fulfill your order!
After that, you'll confirm your shipping and, if necessary, payment details, and then you're done! After that, it's all on us. :)
Art Gallery
We've compiled all of the art pieces unlocked in the campaign, and added them to a gallery on our website. If you're having trouble deciding which art trays or prints you'd like, you can take a look at everything there.
The digital art stretch goal was reached, of course, which means all backers will be receiving downloads of all the art in the campaign! We're working with the artists to prepare approved files, after which they'll be uploaded and accessible to you through BackerKit.
Wyrm Lyfe
We're barreling towards the end of 2020 with alarming speed. How does one year feel simultaneously like a decade and a month? Well, regardless, we'll keep documenting it with our twice-weekly vlog, Wyrm Lyfe. New episodes drop every Wednesday and Friday, and if you subscribe and join us to watch the premiere, you can view it first with no ads! This week, we check out some new machines and talk about the impending holidays. Check it out here:
Thank you all for your support, and we're on hand for any questions you may have, now, or especially in the coming days when BackerKit launches. Don't hesitate to reach out and we'll be happy to help.

The Moon Has Risen!
– Sun, Nov 01, 2020 at 12:59:21 AM
Happy Halloween, everyone!
Wow. It's always a thrill to find how enthusiastic our fans and backers are for our ideas. It's immensely gratifying to come up with something you think is cool, and know so many other people think so, too. Thank you for all of your support through this project, and we can't wait to see what you've all pledged for soon - all $450,000+ of it! Thank you, again, for making this such a success.
But in the meantime, we wanted to take a moment to talk about what happens next, which mostly involves BackerKit. Right now, BackerKit is open for pre-orders. But if you backed the campaign, pre-orders are not for you. Pre-orders are only for those that missed out on the campaign. You'll use BackerKit differently. Read on!
BackerKit
Some quick info about how the post-campaign process will work:
Now that the campaign is over, your pledges are being collected. After they are tallied and transmitted to us, which happens in about two weeks, we'll have the survey ready for you. That survey will come courtesy of BackerKit, our pledge management system. This system takes in your pledge data by integrating with Kickstarter, and then keeps all of your information - shipping address, survey answers, and item selections - all in one place and organized so we can plan our production and fulfillment.
BackerKit also provides several other benefits:
1) For various reasons, some backers get dropped from the project. This is generally due to an issue with payment, such as an expired credit card or typo. BackerKit will invite these backers to fill out the survey and pay through BackerKit instead, so they still have a chance to join the project. Even better, they don't lose their place, and are still in their Kickstarter delivery tier!
2) If you're wishing you'd upped your pledge just a little more for that extra set of dice or print, you aren't out of luck! The campaign is over, but you can still add to your pledge in BackerKit. You'll just settle up any remaining balance as you confirm your pledge.
3) You'll have time - once you submit your survey answers, you'll be able to return to update your order, change your address, and even add more items, anytime you like, as often as you like, up until we lock down orders. More on when this will happen later - we'll definitely let you know for sure when that will be by the time BackerKit is ready for you.
Limited Edition Art Prints
It can be hard to imagine what makes the limited edition art prints so special, given that you can't see a physical example of one. We're working on changing that, but for now, we wanted to share this cool GIF of the Fuji Pearl stock. You can see the metallic effect the material has here:
It really does bring out a new level in the art! As a reminder, these prints are available on a limited basis - if you backed the campaign, you WILL have access to them. The print run will consist of all backer pledge orders, as well as a pre-set limited run made available in the BackerKit pre-order store.
Moon Risen
This was a really fun campaign to plan and launch, and we're excited to send these pieces out into the world. Big thanks to Crystal Sully and the Frazetta Estate for working with us to bring their work to this new format, too, and being flexible and working with us to make it happen - as they both have several times before. Oh, and if anyone you know missed it... feel free to remind them that they can still snag a pre-order here.
The moon is high in the sky, and all manner of beasts are drawing power from it. Wherever you are out there beneath that moon... watch your back, get home safe, and lock the door. In the morning, things will look bright and new and the sun will wash over it all. The full moon casts a lot of light, too, of course... but it isn't enough to reveal what lurks in the shadows. And really, that's a relief. As long as you don't get too close to them.
We'll be in touch as the survey date draws near. Until then, thank you for your support and don't hesitate to reach out with any questions you may have. Goodnight, happy Halloween, and farewell for now!

450K Reached - Frazetta Art UNLOCKED: Beyond The Grave
about 4 years ago
– Sun, Nov 01, 2020 at 12:56:38 AM
With only a few hours to go, you've knocked down the final art unlock from Frank Frazetta:
This piece will be available for selection as an Art Tray OR Art Print in BackerKit after the campaign. And it's not too late to add it to your pledge before the clock strikes midnight!
Happy Halloween, and thanks for making this an amazing campaign, right down to the last minute...

2 Days Left until the Full Moon Rises! NEW Unlocked Art & Art Print Details
about 4 years ago
– Thu, Oct 29, 2020 at 09:03:59 PM
Hello, everyone!
Only a couple days are left in this brief campaign, but there's a LOT to talk about. We've been holding off this update until we had everything lined up but the time has finally come, so let's dive in.
Art Prints
Art prints were unlocked early on, and the details have finally been totally sorted out. While we always planned to make them available if the campaign warranted it, working out some finer points took a little time. Mostly because we don't know anything about printing art! But Crystal Sully sure does, and she's taken the lead in choosing these options. Let's break down what's available!
Standard - 11" x 17", $30
This standard art print option comes with your choice of art. Get ANY unlocked piece in the campaign, by Crystal Sully or Frank Frazetta, suitable for framing! Your chosen piece will be professionally printed on quality heavy cardstock with a matte finish. Quantities will not be limited. Prints will ship in a sturdy cardboard tube. Frame not included.
Limited Edition Fuji Pearl - 12" x 18", $100 or 18" x 24", $150
For art collectors, we present your choice of Crystal Sully artwork unlocked in the campaign, in your preferred size. The limited edition run will feature high-quality, thick Fuji Pearl stock, which will give Crystal's vibrant art a high-gloss, slightly metallic sheen for another layer of breathtaking impact. This stock was hand-picked by Crystal for this project, and each one of these prints will be hand-signed by the artist, and feature the Wyrmwood Corrupted logo. In addition, this printing will be strictly limited to the campaign, with a small number available for pre-order after the close, making each one a collector's piece. Prints will ship in a sturdy cardboard tube. Frame not included.
Unlocked Artwork
Speaking of artwork, several pieces have been unlocked! These are available for prints and art trays!
You might notice we unlocked that last one a wee bit early... it was the planned 400K unlock, but we decided to go ahead and drop it early to, er... in honor of... well... okay, look, we accidentally revealed it early. So it's here, and now you can get it. Enjoy!
T-Shirt Available
We've gotten a lot of requests for a t-shirt, and we've got one for you, from the talented Sedawa:
The light gray print features a realistic, malevolent take on our corrupted logo. It will come on a charcoal shirt, and be available for $25 in your choice of size. Sizes should range from S - 3XL.
Kickstarter Highlights
Kickstarter is a big place, and there are a lot of great campaigns out there. We wanted to highlight a couple that we think you're going to like. They're both being run by folks we know and they're both live right now!
If you're looking for ways to make your next RPG night run faster, smoother and easier, you should definitely take a look.
The Deck of Stories is a collection of interesting and captivating game hooks for you to use in your home game. The cards are self-contained little prompts that combine to make interesting story arcs you can dive into at a moment's notice. Perfect for one-shots, or to add a new chapter to a campaign if your Barbarian rolled just a little too well against that big bad and things are moving faster than you expected!
The campaign also includes NPC Cards, a set of 40 pre-generated beautifully illustrated characters you can use in any campaign. Each NPC comes complete with a handful of traits that help define the character so they aren't just faceless nobodies, but their background is left vague enough that you won't be restricted in how you utilize them. You can get the physical decks in all kinds of configurations, or get digital versions, compatible with Roll20!
If you play D&D, you know that keeping track of status conditions - even just for your own character, let alone the whole party AND the enemies - can be a chore. Viridian Gaming, helmed by friend of Wyrmwood Mike Saltzman, is aiming to change that.
The set comes with more than 70 rings reflecting more than 40 conditions, and all of them are colorful, injection molded, highly readable pieces that will make a great addition to your table. Grab the whole set, or a "halfling set" if you don't need quite so many. There are also a bunch of stretch goals, storage case options and more.
As the moon rises, and the hours tick down, share the page with anyone that may be interested - especially if they might love a print or shirt, since those are brand new additions to the campaign. We appreciate your support and enthusiasm, and we're excited to share our Halloween with you. The holiday holds a special place in many of our hearts (dark and twisted though they may be).
You've already made it a great campaign. Could the last days be even better? We don't know - some of us think so, but some of us wonder... "Howl they possibly do better?"
